An art teacher once told me I have a lot of ideas. I think that’s true, especially when it comes to art and stories.

I live in San Francisco with my partner, and would say my favorite thing to do is climb up the hills at night to see the city lights twinkling.

As an author and illustrator, I love to tell stories that unite my internal and external expeditions.

My partner Eric and I enjoy taking extreme roadtrips to search for obscure grocery items like spruce tip cookies or solar powered sea salt. You’ll find me doodling on the deck of an oyster farm, or brining pickles from cucumbers I picked up at a farmers market in North Dakota.
